We travelled to see the Sooty Tern at Cemyln Bay, Anglesey on 23rd July 2005. It was thrilling to spend much of the day watching this cracking bird. The tern was a little too distant to obtain good quality pictures, but I was pleased to obtain a few record shots.
There was also the opportunity to enjoy close views of breeding Arctic, Common and Sandwich Terns, plus a single adult Roseate.
