These images were taken on a visit to Chester Zoo where we were expertly guided by my nephew, Jack. Our tour included the Komodo Dragons, Orang-utans, Jaguars and the Indian Elephants.
I always have mixed emotions about zoos and seeing wild animals in captivity. It was sobering to see such a range of fantastic animals and be reminded how precarious their long term future is in the wild.
