Golden Triangle

The 'Golden Triangle' is the unimaginative name given to an area containing several 'must see' places for any tourist visiting Iceland.   The area lies just a short distance to the east of Reykjavik.

Gullfoss waterfall
This magnificent waterfall (or should that be waterfalls) was one of the highlights of the trip.   We were so impressed that we returned on our last day for a second look and nearly missed our flight.
